The rose petal and champagne experience is part of our Private flight tier at EUR 500 per person. It is the most romantic version of a Cappadocia balloon flight we offer, and we prepare it for honeymooners, anniversaries, proposals, Valentine’s Day, and couples who simply want the experience to feel extraordinary.

What Is Included in the Package?

• Rose petal decoration: Fresh rose petals (red, pink, or mixed—tell us your preference) are arranged on the basket floor and edge 10 minutes before you board. The effect is immediate and visual—especially when photographed against the wicker basket and the sunrise sky.
• Premium champagne: An upgraded brand served in proper flutes, not plastic cups. The first pour happens at altitude during the flight (if you choose), and a full champagne toast follows after landing with a dedicated table setup.
• Exclusive basket: No other passengers. Only you, your partner, the pilot, and the photographer. The basket holds 2–4 people, so you have room to move, turn, and face any direction as the landscape unfolds.
• Professional photographer: A dedicated photographer flies in the basket with you for the entire 60–90 minute flight. They capture candid moments, posed portraits, and the rose petal details. You receive 50–100 edited photos in a digital gallery within 24–48 hours.
• Custom flight route: The pilot selects the most scenic path based on wind conditions. Common highlights include Love Valley, Rose Valley, Pigeon Valley, and a pass near Uchisar Castle.
• Flight duration: 60–90 minutes, the longest of any tier. Standard flights last 45–60 minutes. The extra time gives you more sunrise views, more photo opportunities, and more quiet moments together.
• Hotel pick-up and drop-off: From any hotel in Goreme, Uchisar, or Urgup.
• Turkish breakfast: Served at the launch field before the flight.
• Personalized flight certificate: Both names, the date, and your occasion printed on the certificate.

How Does the Rose Petal Decoration Look?

The crew scatters fresh petals across the basket floor and along the top edge of the basket walls about 10 minutes before boarding. Against the natural wicker, the red and pink petals create a strong visual contrast. In photos, the petals frame your feet and lower body, adding color to every full-basket shot the photographer takes.

The petals stay in place during the flight. There is no wind inside the basket at altitude because the balloon moves with the air, not against it. This is one of the surprising things about balloon flights—even at 500 meters, the petals do not blow away. By landing, some have shifted, but the overall decoration remains intact.

The Champagne Experience

All three flight tiers include a champagne celebration after landing. The rose petal and champagne package upgrades this in two ways:

• In-flight pour: If you like, the photographer or crew pours a glass mid-flight while you are floating over the fairy chimneys. This makes for a strong photo—champagne flute with 100 balloons in the background. Just let us know when booking if you want this.
• Post-landing toast: After landing, your champagne toast is set up at a private table near the landing site. The photographer captures the toast, the certificates, and the post-flight glow. Standard and Comfort passengers share a communal celebration area. Yours is separate.

How to Book

Book through our booking page and select the Private tier. Mention “rose petal and champagne” in the notes, along with your occasion and any preferences (petal colors, champagne brand, special requests). Alternatively, message us on WhatsApp to discuss details before booking.

Private flights sell out 3–4 weeks in advance during peak season (May–September) and 4–6 weeks before Valentine’s Day. Book early to secure your date. For last-minute requests, WhatsApp is the fastest channel.

Are the rose petals real?

Yes. We use fresh rose petals, arranged the morning of your flight. They are sourced locally and placed in the basket 10 minutes before boarding. If you have a color preference (red, pink, white, or mixed), let us know when booking.

Do the petals blow away during the flight?

No. A hot air balloon moves with the wind, not against it, so there is no wind inside the basket at altitude. The petals stay in place throughout the flight. Some may shift during landing, but the overall decoration remains intact for photos.

Can I bring my own champagne or wine?

The package includes premium champagne, but if you have a specific bottle that holds sentimental value, let us know. We can accommodate personal bottles with advance notice. Glass bottles are handled by the crew for safety.

Is the rose petal package available on the Comfort or Standard tier?
