CAA-Licensed Pilots
Every pilot on our team holds a valid Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) commercial balloon pilot license. Our pilots have a minimum of 10 years flying experience over Cappadocia and undergo annual proficiency checks and recurrent training.
Daily Balloon Inspections
Before every flight, our ground crew performs a comprehensive pre-flight inspection of the envelope, basket, burners, fuel system, and all rigging. Our balloons are maintained to manufacturer specifications and undergo full annual inspections by certified engineers.
Full Insurance Coverage
All passengers are covered by comprehensive third-party liability insurance and personal accident insurance for the duration of the flight. Our insurance meets and exceeds Turkish Civil Aviation requirements.
Weather Monitoring
We use real-time meteorological data from multiple sources including local weather stations, aviation forecasts (METARs and TAFs), and direct communication with the CAA. Flights only proceed when conditions are within safe parameters for wind speed, visibility, and precipitation.

Emergency Procedures
All crew members are trained in emergency response including rapid deflation, emergency landing procedures, and first aid. Each basket carries a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and communication equipment. We maintain direct radio contact with ground support at all times.
