Vegan & Special Diet Breakfast Options Before Your Balloon Flight

Yes, we accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements for the pre-flight breakfast. Just mention your needs when you book or message us on WhatsApp before your flight day.

Standard Breakfast (Already Mostly Vegetarian)

The default pre-flight breakfast includes tea, coffee, pastries, fresh fruit, juice, and water. Most items are already vegetarian. The pastries may contain butter and eggs, which is the main concern for vegan passengers.

Vegan Options

When notified in advance, we provide:

  • Fresh seasonal fruit (watermelon, melon, grapes in summer; apples, oranges in winter)
  • Simit (traditional sesame bread rings—most recipes are naturally vegan)
  • Dried fruits and nuts
  • Black tea and Turkish coffee (both naturally plant-based)
  • Fruit juice and water

Gluten-Free Options

We can replace the bread and pastries with fresh fruit, nuts, and rice cakes. Let us know at booking so we can prepare enough for your group.

Allergies

For specific allergies (nuts, dairy, eggs, etc.), provide details when booking. We separate allergen-containing items and can prepare an individual breakfast tray. Cross-contamination risk is low since the breakfast is a simple open-air spread, not a kitchen-prepared multi-course meal.

Tip: Eat After the Flight Too

The pre-flight breakfast is intentionally light. After landing and the champagne celebration, you will be back at your hotel by 8:00–9:00 AM—perfect timing for a full Turkish breakfast. Most Cappadocia hotels serve excellent vegan-friendly spreads with olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, and bread.
